BIOGRAPHY
With a heritage rooted in country, southern rock, folk and heavy metal, Alberta based JW Mickle's songs are as comfortable and natural playing in a dive bar, on a folk stage or just blasting out of your big rigs windows. Known for spirited live shows and lyrics that speak to the blue collar working man and woman. JW Grew up in the mountain hills of the Bulkley Valley in British Columbia before moving to the prairies in the early 2000's. If you are searching for a modern, polished country sound, then best keep looking. You wont find any fancy gimmicks or smooth trickery here. Just honest and gritty Alberta dirt rock.
